Further highlights were the performances of the André el Hage Trio from Beirut, song settings of poems by Goethe and Hafez with Scot Weir and Salar Aghili, the piano duo Saleem Abboud Ashkar & Itamar Golan, and Rosa Zaragoza. Originally planned as a one-off event, this marked the beginning of the Morgenland Festival Osnabrück.
